L.H. Jones Equipment Company has supplied the West Virginia Division of Highways with 176 SnowDogg snowplows and 176 SaltDogg stainless steel salt spreaders for winter operations beginning in the 2011-12 season.  Most of the units were installed by LH Jones in the days between the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

"We definitely had to ramp up production to the meet the installation goals.  We were able to do that by investing a significant amount in our service and installation facility,” said Len Hancock, LH Jones’ Chief Operations officer. “It was a great project and we had fun in process.”

The plows and spreaders are in service in the Division of Highways Fleet now and will be for many years to come.  They were installed on a mix of Ford F350 pick-up trucks and F550 work trucks that the State recently purchased.
